For children:
Use simple, positive language: “You’ll be doing different activities and puzzles — just try your best.”
Bring snacks, a drink, and a comfort item if helpful.
Ensure your child is rested and has eaten.
We schedule children’s assessments in the morning when attention is usually the strongest.
For adults:
Bring any previous reports or relevant documents.
A good night’s rest and a breakfast or lunch beforehand can help with focus.
Breaks will be provided as needed.

The cost of an assessment varies depending on what is required for your individual situation. Factors such as the type of assessment, the number of sessions needed, previous testing, and the level of reporting or liaison involved can all influence the final fee.
Because each assessment is tailored, fees are not one-size-fits-all. Approximate fees are listed on the Assessments page.

We are happy to guide you through the options and help you understand what may be required.
